Our week in Utah!

This post is way overdue however with my state of mind right now I am lucky to even be thinking about it and get it done ever.  Back at the beginning of June the kids and I went to Utah for MANY reasons.  First of all we were able to be at Taryns baptism.  It was so wonderful to spend this time with her and the family and it was so sweet to witness.  She was the only baptism in her ward so we were the only ones in the room, family and close friends.  What an intimate experience.  Second, that evening was Sheas dance recital.  She was so good and she looked like a true princess.  She got some flowers after it was done and you would have thought that she won the lottery. She glowed carrying those around.   Then on Sunday we journeyed to Layton to watch Creed get blessed.  It was so nice to see all the family together and Jonathan and Jaimie did a great job.  Then we went to Logan to spend a couple days with my uncle, aunt, and cousins.  Needless to say that there was non-stop laughter and a whole lotta good food!  There were some firsts like kite flying and rock skipping the weather was amazing.  I miss seeing everyone and being able to bond it is nice to get all the cousins together and to spend some quality time united.  The best part was driving up American Fork canyon and seeing the majestic beauty.  I often forget how beautiful this world is.  Don't get me wrong I love living in AZ but the outdoors don't compare to Utah.  I really think that I could live in the mountains with streams and some good old fishing!  Thanks Jerianne for the hospitality and letting us ruin your place for a week.  I miss you all, all the time!

Fathers Day!

I just wanted to say Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers and Dads and Grandpas and so on out there.  The world would be a lonely place without all of you.  Thank you especially to my Dad and for the amazing example that he set in his life for me.  I always want to be a better person when I am around him (although he would highly disagree with that statement!) I am also so grateful for my Grandfathers.  It still feels pretty new to me to only have one left with me here on earth.  It has been a few years now but I can always remember him and his sweet spirit.  I love my Papaw and cherish all the time that I get to spend with him.   To Ryan I could never have asked for a more amazing Dad to our children.  They are so excited to see him everyday and he loves to play with them constantly.  The only audible word that Jag says is "Daddy" and he screams it throughout the house all day long.  I am glad that our children will be able to have such a great father growing up and that they can learn so much through him.  He works so hard to keep our family thriving and happy and I can't express my appreciation enough.  I love you Ryan and I know the kids do as well.   Happy Fathers Day!

A family First!

Navie has finally lost her first tooth!  She let it hang for about a week and would barely let anyone touch it at the fear that they would wiggle it out.  I kept telling her that she needed to let her Dad pull it because it was so loose I was afraid that she would swallow it in her sleep.  That resulted in her saying her prayers every night that she would not lose her tooth until she was ready for it to come out.  She woke up on Monday morning and was wrestling with her brother when she noticed that her mouth tasted like "iron" she felt around and it was gone.  There was no bleeding which was very exciting for Navie and she handled it well.  The tooth fairy left her five ones (because it was a first) and she was so excited that she woke up at four a.m. to come in and tell Ryan and I!  Bless her...

Happy 9 years!

Nine years ago today Ryan and I got married.  It was a wonderful day and I love looking back at all the pictures to remind me of that time.  So to my sweet husband Ryan (who when I got home from Utah had all the laundry done, house clean, and took the kids so that I could lay down and rest for a day) Happy Anniversary!  I look forward to many more years and great times together.  I love you and am so blessed that you chose me...

BTW... I tried to find one of the earliest pictures of Ryan and I that didn't  have to be scanned in.  This is what I got, enjoy!
