Happy Birthday Baby!

Today the 28th was Jags second birthday!  I can't believe that our baby is already two.  It seems like yesterday that we were bringing home our very first (and turned out to be only) little boy.  Things changed around here dramatically when blue was introduced into our pink ruffly world.  We have enjoyed every single minute of it and we can only imagine what the future holds for him!  He is such a loving sweet little boy.  He gives kisses and hugs whenever you ask or when he sees anyone crying or sad.  He runs around the house all day with at least one ball in his hands but usually it is two or three.  He loves to color (we have tried to stop him from doing this on walls) his sisters love to teach him anything that they can.  His favorite sport has to be golf.  I don't know how but he loves I mean LOVES to hit his golf balls.  He got a new set for his birthday and he won't leave it alone, it is as though he got nothing else he loves it that much.  He still has just a partial tooth up front and Ryan and I are actually getting used to his "Jagged Jagger" look.  He talks so much and can ask for most any food that he likes or what sort of toy he wants.  The other thing that Jag begs for on a regular basis is to play the Wii.  He loves to pitch in baseball and loves to bowl.  Nobody believes me until they come to see it for themselves but he truly is good at it.  He always wants to go "potty" on the toilet (although he is nowhere close to being trained) he watches his sisters and thinks that it is the coolest thing ever.  He stacks anything he can get his hands on and knocks them down just so he can laugh hysterically.  He loves his cousin "Crew" and the two of them together are just funny.  For his birthday he learned to blow out his candles and say "two" he also loved to open his gifts.

Jagger, we love you dearly and could not imagine how empty our lives would feel without you.  You are such a blessing to all of us and bring a special joy and peace into our home.  We have been so blessed to be your parents and we pray that we  will enjoy every minute our future together holds!  Thanks for being such a sweet boy and loving all of us so whole-heartedly!

Recently taken...

We have just taken some recent pictures of the kids lately doing kid things and thought we would post a few of them.  Enjoy!

So Proud!

I received a phone call from Navies school teacher the other day letting me know that Navie was going to get the Character award at her elementary school for all of the Kindergartners.  She was wondering if she would be brave enough to accept the award in front of the whole school assembly the next morning.  With Navie we never know, sometimes she does and sometimes she is so shy she won't do anything.  Ryan and I got the camera and video camera ready and snuck into the gymnasium the next day hoping that she wouldn't see us.  She tends to do a lot better if she thinks that we are not there.  When they called her name (that is after the principal asked for help on pronouncing it) she walked right up there and stood by the other students and received her award.  We were so proud of her and she seemed so much more confident then we have seen her in a while. I was so bummed because my cameras flash was  not working so all my pictures are dark but you can still make out a little Navie if you look hard enough (okay so really hard with batman vision.)  Navie we are so proud of you and excited that you are taking in this new experience of school so well.  We are grateful that you make good decisions and hope that you continue to do so!  We love you!

Random nights!

Tonight was pretty funny, Ryan was in the picture taking mode and the girls were hamming it up for him.  I think I need to reconsider letting the girls watch my favorite show with me,  "Americas Next Top Model!"  I honestly love it but so do they and when Ryan asked them to model walk and pose they had no problem with understanding that at all.  Plus we were getting Jag to smile for the camera and give kisses.  He would do it a few times but then rapidly got bored at the idea of posing for pictures.  To top it off while I was at my doctors appointment Ryan took the kids and later informed me that he dared  Navie to pull her tooth out and she did.  I could not believe it when I was a kid I would never have pulled my teeth out.  In fact I was so scared I wouldn't let anyone do it, I just let them fall out on their own.  Just for memory sake some of the cute things that Ryan does with the kids I want to write down.  He loves to spend the late nights with Jag and to put him down he lays in our bed and reads to Jag.  Not baby books Ryan books, Jag has learned all about Grizzly bears lately.  The best part though, it puts Jag right to sleep.  That boy does take after me on somethings (reading has always put me to sleep)!  For Navies birthday he promised her a new bike and they went out and got one and low and behold it was Hannah Montana.  For school Ryan came home with a Camp Rock lunch bag for Navie as well.  He knows all the good brands for those little girls.  Then to spoil his second child he bought her a bathing baby.  Blakely is definitely our little mommy.  She has more babies than Toys "R" Us.  Jag has always loved to play with balls and Ryan got him a little golf club with some plastic balls.  Now I have one more thing to worry about hitting my walls.  I am so thankful that Ryan spends time with his kids especially because I am so pregnant and struggling to keep my energy up daily.  They love to play with their Daddy!

Thank you!

How do thank someone enough for putting in so much effort to keep family memories archived?  I don't know all I can say is that I owe it to someone for doing all this.  My sister Jerianne every year puts together a family video.  They are never something small or thrown together quickly, they are always elaborate well thought out productions.  My children ask for them constantly and love to laugh at how much they have all changed.  I honestly love them and don't know if everything would be as well documented without her effort.  Jerianne thank you so much I owe you big time however don't know how to repay you.  Your talents far exceed mine!  I love you love you love you!  You are precious to us all.

Labor Day 2008!

This Labor day was so fun.  We got invited to a friends bar-b-que and had a super time.  There was lots of laughter and tons of food.  This pool is amazing and the kids are in heaven and would barely get out to eat.  Thanks so much to Caryn and Rusty but also to Russ and Cindi for letting us invade their space and take over their resort of  a back yard!  We love you guys!

P.S. I have to add this so that I don't forget but two nights in a row now Jag has smashed two bottles of perfume.  He stands on my counter and I barely notice until I hear the crash and smell the money on the floor.  I am sad that I lost my two bottles and to be honest they were my favorites but he hasn't gotten hurt and I think he finally learned that what he was doing was wrong.  I guess we'll see I can't speak to soon!
